William Remarke

REMARKE, William (Bill) age 82 of Fridley. Preceded in death by wife , Margarethe; brothers, Jack & Jim Remarke; survived by children, Sue (Craig) Remarke Hanson, Carrie Remarke, Julie (Tim) Remarke Simonson, Steve (Stephanie) Remarke; grandchildren, Greta, Nick, Nate & Benjamin; sisters, Joyce & Mary Ann; brother, Joe; also many nieces & nephews. Bill was a proud US Army veteran, serving in Germany from 1955-1957. Bill enjoyed his work, a machinist by trade. He always said he was most comfortable in his garage forming parts, spot welding or working on the punch press. He proudly owned his home in Arizona. Many good years have been spent escaping the cold Minnesota winters. The trips were never long enough. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday June 9th, 10 AM at the Church of the Immaculate Conception 4030 Jackson St. NE., Columbia Heights. Visitation Wed. 5-8 PM at the Miller Funeral Home, 6210 Hwy. 65 NE., Fridley and one hour prior to Mass at the church. Interment Hillside. Thank you for being a loving husband, a devoted dad and "Opa". The best friend four kids could ever ask for. We love you!
