Welsey "Wes" Vossler

Vossler, Wesley P., beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend to many. Wes, age 87 passed away at his home on Feb, 16 2020. He will be dearly missed by his wife, Verdell of 64 years; children, Daryl (Joni), Candy (Bruce), and Sherry; grandchildren, Jessica (Shawn), Bridget (Travis), Sean, A.J., Beau, Zachary, Libby, Lindsey and Sam; great grandchildren, Logan, Riley, Olivia, Briggs, and Harvey. Also survived by 3 sisters and 1 brother and many nieces and nephews. Wes was a proud military veteran and served in the Korean War. In 1955, he and Verdell left North Dakota and made Minneapolis their new home. They resided in Fridley for 58 years where they raised their family. He retired in 1996 after 40 years of employment at Goodin Company. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, playing cards/bingo, but most of all spending time with his family. Funeral services will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 61 Mississippi St. N.E. Fridley, on Fri, Feb 21, at 11AM with visitation at 10AM.
