Virginia Soderstrom

Soderstrom, Virginia J. "Ginny" age 86 of Fridley, passed away February 20th after a long and courageous battle with
Alzheimer's. She was preceded in death by parents, Thorvald Christiansen and Ida Christiansen Anderson; step-father, Harry Anderson; sister-in-law, Georgia Christiansen. Survived by loving husband of 66 years, Russ; children, Ryan (Nancy) Soderstrom of Colorado Springs, CO, Avis Soderstrom of Blaine, Chris (Jennifer) Soderstrom of Maple Grove; grandchildren, Alaina (Brett) Keller, Grant (Gianna) Soderstrom, Laura (Kyle) Gangl, Luke, Jonathan, and Anna Soderstrom; brothers, Jerry (Barb) Christiansen, James Christiansen, many nieces and nephews. Memorial Service, Saturday 11 AM, March 4th with visitation one hour prior at Edinbrook Church, 4300 Edinbrook Pwky N, Brooklyn Park. Visitation also 5-8 PM Friday, March 3rd at Miller Funeral Home, 6210 Hwy 65 NE, Fridley. Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. A portion of the memorials will be designated to Fairview Hospice music therapy program and to Edinbrook Church where Russ and Ginny have been members for almost 60 years.
