Muller, Virginia "Fran" (nee Drake)
A SPIRITED WOMAN
Surrounded by her children, Fran passed away peacefully at home on February 23, 2010 at the age of 84, after losing her courageous battle with breast cancer. She was preceded in death by parents, Ivey and Edward Drake; husband Jim; siblings Carroll Robert, Mavis Larea, Shannon Lee, and Doris Rae Marshall; son-in-law, Larry Farber and great-granddaughter, Jessica. Survived by 5 daughters, Mary Archambault of Ely, Judy Farber of Shoreview, Vicki (Denny) Maas of Mounds View, Jean Muller (Brian) of Mounds View, and Cindy Muller (Jeff Kahl) of Isanti; she is also survived by siblings, Betty (Wayne)Wolhart of East Gull Lake, Keith (Diana) of Crosby, David (Laurie) of Breezy Point, Diane (Jeff) Vogt of Brainerd; grandchildren, Michele Farber Sanders (Dave), Jamie Archambault, David Archambault, Brian (Rene) Maas, Chris (Randi) Maas, Alan Kahl; and 15 great-grandchildren. Fran enjoyed working as a Bookeeper for Lindey's Steak House, Arden Hills for almost 27 years and she was the inspiring teacher and leader of the TOPS weight control group of Mounds View for many years. She loved working in her garden, crossword puzzles, playing word games and shopping anytime with her "girls". The family gratefully thanks her oncologist, Dr. Jade Anderson and the staff and volunteers of Allina Home and Community Services for their loving care. Memorials preferred to the American Cancer Society. Fran was truly the cornerstone of a loving, caring, and unified family and she will be deeply missed by her family and friends. A celebration of Fran's life will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2010 from 1-5 PM with a special Remembrance Service at 2:30 pm at the Miller Funeral Home, 6210 Hwy. 65 NE, Fridley, MN 55432 763-571-1300
