Ishaug, Virgil D., age 81 of Fridley. Preceded in death by parents, Melvin & Nora; brothers, Harley & Percy; Survived by loving wife of almost 50 years, Joan; children, Patty (Rich) Pieper, Suzie (Pete) Riley, Brian (Adriana Guevara) Ishaug; grandchildren, Marcos, Nicolas, Katie, Allie, Jackson, Katie (Brian), Anna, David, Sarah & Meghan; great grandchildren, Ursula & Isolde; sister, Shirley Irey; brothers, Ordean (Maureen), Bobby (Betty) & Doug (Jerry); also nieces, nephews, friends & relatives. Originally from Pelican Rapids, MN, Virgil served 4 years in the Airforce, graduated from NDSU & worked as an auditor 40+ years. He was a member of the Am. Legion and the Sons of Norway. Funeral service Monday May 11, 10 AM at St. Philips Lutheran Church , 6180 Hwy. 65 NE, Fridley. Visitation at the Miller Funeral Home, 6210 Hwy. 65 NE, Fridley, Sun. 5 ~ 8 PM and one hour prior to service at church. Interment Ft. Snelling. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Philip's Lutheran Church.
