Vincent Dahle

Vincent S. Dahle, age 83 of Shoreview, formerly of New Brighton, passed away April 18, 2011.

Preceded in death by parents, Rev. and Mrs. Viggo Dahle and sister, June Biegler. Survived by loving wife of 58 years, Anna Marie (Ann); sons, Vance S. (Linda) and Gary C. (Beth) Dahle; grandsons, Vinson, Colin, David and Christopher.

Born in Rugby, ND, graduate of New London High School, Augsburg College and William Mitchell College of Law. He spent a year in Columbia, South America, with the SPAN Program during his Augsburg years. He briefly served in the Naval Air Cadet Program towards the end of WWII, and was an officer in the Army for 6 years and the Reserves for 4 years, obtaining the rank of Captain. Vincent was a Package Designer at Waldorf Corp for 10 years. He was a member of the New Brighton Lions Club and practiced law in New Brighton. He developed Brightwood Hills Golf Course in New Brighton. He held several leadership positions and was an active member of Abiding Savior Lutheran Church in Mounds View for many years.

Funeral service Monday, 11AM at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church, 8211 Red Oak Drive, Mounds View, (763) 784-5120. Visitation one hour prior to service. Private family interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Abiding Savior Lutheran Church; Hegland Lutheran Church, Hawley, MN; Nordland Lutheran Church, Paynesville, MN.
