Valli Netland

Valli Netland, longtime resident of Spring Lake Park, died September 4, 2013. Preceded in death by the love of her life, Jerry; parents, Jack & Susie Pasko; sister, Phyllis; and nephew Vincent Nyle. Survived by daughter, Karen Barthel (Tom Pope); son, Scott Netland; grandchildren, Rochelle Barthel, Kristina (Shawn) Bretheim, Joseph (Angela) Barthel, Dean Pope and Brady Netland; great grandchildren, Tabitha, Jack and Brandon; sister, Germaine Bruins; brother, Nyle (Marilyn) Pasko; dear friends, Diane Baxter and Sharon Sodman; many nieces, nephews, and cherished friends. Valli will be remembered for her great love of family, books, and her gardens.
Memorial Service 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 9, 2013 at Miller Funeral Home, 6210 HWY 65 NE, Fridley. Family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment at Hillside Cemetery. Memorials to the family will be used towards a city park bench in Valli's honor.
