Timothy Lundstrom

Lundstrom, Timothy Lee, age 47, of New Brighton, taken from his family too soon on Oct. 22, 2013. Preceded in death by father, David. Survived by mother, Barbara; sisters, Lori (Eric Pierson) Lundstrom and Paula Lundstrom. Tim had many skills and talents. He was a chef extraordinaire, and told his family that he "loved gourmet cooking too much to do it for a living." He trained himself as a maintenance engineer, which was what he did for a living in the last decade of his life. He had a wonderful sense of humor, especially when playing with his beloved pet cats, or discussing politics and current affairs. His post high school education included EMT certification, which would prove indispensable to his mother Barbara when she needed to be a full-time caretaker for David (Tim's father). Dad enjoyed watching baseball and football games with you with towards the end of his life. Dad would light up at your amazing ability to recall baseball stories and statistics. Tim, you had no idea how many people you helped, and how many hearts you touched. You were more loved than you ever knew. You were such a stoic, kind and sensitive soul. We hope you are finally at peace. May God hold you in his arms.
