Thomas Kelley

Thomas Hilary Kelley of New Brighton, was born January 19, 1927 and died January 18, 2011, just one day short of his 84th birthday. Preceded in death by his sister, Ethel Stokke and first wife, Marie. Survived by his wife of 27 years, Helen; 6 children, David (Lois) Kelley, Jane (John) Garrity, Bob (Edith) Kelley, Karen Kelley, Bruce (Loraine) Kelley, Sue (Rob) Darveaux; 3 stepsons, Steve (Jean) Volna, Mike (Kim) Volna, Tom (Stacey Jo) Volna; 19 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and his nieces and nephew. Tom worked at NSP (Excel Energy) for 32 years and was happily retired for 26 years. Camping and travel were two of his most loved passions. Funeral service Monday, 10:30 AM at Miller Funeral Home, 6210 HWY 65 NE, Fridley, MN with visitation one hour prior to service. Visitation Sunday, 5-8 PM with a VFW ceremony beginning at 6:30 PM with sharing of memories to follow. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
