Thomas Annett, Sr

Annett Sr., Thomas Melvyn, age 79, of New Brighton, MN, formerly of Fridley, MN passed away on November 15, 2017.  Tom Sr. resided with his loving partner and best friend, Mary Jane Schaal. Other survivors include daughters Elizabeth Annett, Kathy Annett (Craig Ladenberger), Jackie Annett-Paulson (Brad), Mary Annett Skaptason (Joe), son Thomas Annett Jr. (Lyn), 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, many loving relatives and good friends.
Tom Sr. was a master carpenter for over 40 years and a member of the Carpenter’s Union Local 322. He took great pride in his workmanship and proudly served many companies around the Twin Cities area. An avid outdoorsmen, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and photography. Other interests included traveling on cruise lines, ballroom dancing and casinos. Tom Sr.’s greatest achievement was raising a large family and he found much joy in spending time together, sharing laughs and doughnuts!
A memorial service will be held to celebrate Tom Sr.’s life on November 29, 2017 at 4pm, Miller Funeral Home, 6210 Hwy 65 NE, Fridley, MN 55432, (763)571-1300. Coffee and cake will be served.
