Tara Marie Jacobs

Tara Marie Jacobs passed away Jan. 19, 2024, at her home in Mounds View, Minnesota, at the age of 44. She passed peacefully with her devoted husband Mat by her side.

Tara was born in Huron, South Dakota, to James and Catherine (Carlson) Stanley on Aug. 18, 1979. She is survived by her loving husband, Mat; her son Finnius, stepson Trent, her mother Cathy Stanley (Dean) of Arlington, South Dakota; her brother Justin (Deann) Stanley and their children of Brookings, South Dakota. Tara leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins and countless friends to mourn her and cherish the blessing of beautiful memories.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 30, at GracePoint Church in Brookings South Dakota. At this time, family and friends will gather from 1 to 4 p.m. Please feel free to come at this time to celebrate Tara with stories, pictures, and sentiments. Tara loved flowers and always had them in her home. If you wish the family would welcome flowers at the celebration. The family is doing well financially. If you wish to donate, Tara's son Finnius, gives to St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital. The family would welcome donations to St. Jude in Tara's name.
