She spent fifteen years volunteering at Unity Hospital and some time at the Senior Center, Cheers, Meals on Wheels. All of the volunteer work was rewarding. She started a column that was printed weekly on short stories of her past experiences from age four to teen age. That went on for a year or more, it was fun and appreciated by many who read the Fridley News Letter. She also spent ten or more years as a member of the "Golden Bells and Silver Stars" and another senior dance group called "Dance Connection" located at Blaine which at the time very enjoyable and kept her in good health. In other words she had a very busy life.
