Scott James Schultz of Fridley Mn died peacefully at his home at the age of 63. Scott was born in Minneapolis MN on April 30th, 1960 the son of Wally and Evonne Schultz. Growing up Scott enjoyed fishing, biking and playing hockey. All activities he continued to enjoy the remainder of his life. Scott was full of life and anyone who knew him experienced laughter. A day with Scott was good conversation and excellent food he made from his many grills. Scott was a very loyal friend to anyone he came across. In later years he treasured his time swimming with his only granddaughter Willow and then later spoiling her with Red Lobster visits.
In high school Scott met and married Karla Gubrud. Together they had two children. Eldest Daughter Aletta and son Scott Jr. Although they separated later they continued to raise both.
Scott worked at FMC for many years until back issues eventually forced himself into retirement.
In retirement he spent time with his many friends and family. He often helped out his mother Evonne by doing many different projects at her home. He also kept in touch daily with Aletta and Scott with phone calls.
His laughter and kindness will be remembered by everyone who knew him.
Scott leaves behind his daughter Aletta (David) Hoium, granddaughter Willow Hoium and son Scott Schultz Jr.
He was preceded in death by his sister Kimberly and his parents Wally and Evonne Schultz.
Per his request there will be no funeral services.
