Russell Soderstrom

Soderstrom, Russell W. age 89 of Fridley, passed away on April 12, 2020, after a courageous battle with multiple conditions, including renal failure. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia “Ginny”; parents, Edward and Mildred Soderstrom; brother, Ronald Soderstrom; and brother-in-law, Lyle Berghuis. Survived by loving children, Ryan (Nancy) Soderstrom of Colorado Springs, CO, Avis Soderstrom of Blaine, Chris (Jennifer) Soderstrom of Winter Garden, FL; grandchildren, Alaina (Brett) Keller, Grant (Gianna) Soderstrom, Laura (Kyle) Gangl, Luke (fiancée, Tamara Smalley) Soderstrom, Jonathan, and Anna Soderstrom; great-grandchildren, Erik, Laila, Josiah, and Emily; brothers, Arlen (Gloria) Soderstrom, Merlin (Ione) Soderstrom, sister, Betty Berghuis, sister-in-law Judy Soderstrom; many nieces and nephews. The family would like to offer a very special thank you to the Fridley DaVita Dialysis Center and to the BeeHive Homes of Maple Grove (Russ’ care center). A Memorial Service will be held at Edinbrook Church, 4300 Edinbrook Pkwy, Brooklyn Park, MN 55443 on Saturday, April 10, 2021, at 10 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Live streaming of the Memorial Service will be available by clicking HERE .
