Roxanne Lee Roloff, beloved mother, grandmother, cherished friend, and proud member of the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on the serene evening of April 12th, 2024. Roxie, a beacon of love and laughter, departed this world at the age of 68, surrounded by her cherished friends and family.

Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on March 6th, 1956, Roxie was renowned for her infectious laughter, boundless generosity, and the profound kindness she extended to everyone she met. Her life was a testament to her incredible spirit and resilience, which she maintained throughout her life and during her brave fight against cancer.

Roxie enjoyed shopping, crossword puzzles, playing bingo, coffee, and spending time with friends, but her favorite pastime was being with her family. An active member of the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe, Roxie participated in cultural events, advocated for her people's rights, and taught the younger generations the importance of their heritage.

Above all, Roxie cherished her family. She was a nurturing mother to her children, always putting their needs above hers, and a devoted grandmother whose stories and games filled their lives with joy. Her love and lessons continue to live on in her family, whom she adored more than anything. Roxie faced her illness as she lived her life—with courage, dignity, and an unwavering will to persevere. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends who supported her with the same love and care she had generously given them.

Though the void left in our family gatherings and special occasions will be deeply felt, we find comfort in the belief that Roxie now resides in a place of eternal joy and peace, watching over us with her signature smile.

Roxie is preceded in her journey by her beloved father, Albert McClimek; mother, Dorothy McClimek; her three brothers, Dale McClimek, Scott McClimek, and Randy McClimek; and her husband, Kevin Roloff. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her brothers, Gary McClimek, and Roger McClimek; her children, Kevin Roloff (Roslyn Roloff), Melissa Roloff (Dustin Hansch), and Jennifer Geringer (Ryan Geringer); and her treasured grandchildren, Bryce Roloff, Mariah Hansch, Aili Larson, Breanna Hansch, Mason Hansch, Justin Roloff, and Ryker Geringer.

We invite you to celebrate Roxie's remarkable life at Miller Funeral Home, 6210 Hwy 65 NE, Fridley, MN 55432, on April 20th. The viewing will start at 10:00 AM, followed by the service at 11:00 AM.
