Rosalie Landt

Rosalie Katherine Landt, age 53, of Fridley, was called to her heavenly home unexpectedly on May 23, 2017 at Unity Hospital in Fridley, MN. Rosalie was born to Homer and Nina Landt in Minneapolis on October 24, 1963.

'Rosie' attended Bemidji State University, the Minnesota School of Business, and Concordia College, earning degrees in elementary education, legal secretary, and environmental science respectively. Her intense love of nature and animals led her to a passionate life of artistic creativity and animal rescue. The love of nature was surpassed only by her love for her family and her friends.

Despite the many challenges that she experienced in the past few years, Rosie never lost her cheerful nature and boundless optimism. She was selfless in caring for, and about, others. Her beautiful smile and contagious laugh will be forever remembered by her family and those fortunate to call her 'friend'.

Rosalie joins her parents, Homer & Nina Landt & nephew, Jeremy Landt in her eternal life. Rosalie is survived by her fur babies, Gypsy & Sticky; brothers, Douglas (Ruth) & Robert Landt; sister, Carol (Gary) Harvet; niece, Jessica Lego; great-nephews, Cole & James Lego; great-nieces, Kiana and Kayla Landt, and close friend, James Browning.

Memorial service will be held at 6 PM on Fri., 6/16/2017 at Miller Funeral Home, 6210 Hwy 65 NE, Fridley, MN, with a visitation 2 hours prior.
