Ron was an atomic veteran of the 216th Chemical Service Company. These soldiers are often referred to as The Forgotten 216th after their service in the military.
Ron loved his family, especially getting together for the backyard BBQ’s, playing dominoes and 500. Ron was the neighborhood handyman as he could fix anything.
Ron and Mary enjoyed many winters as snowbirds in Big Pine Key, FL and Alamo, TX. There he took up wood carving and learned to play dominoes.
Ron was diagnosed with MS in the mid 80’s. He never complained. Thank you to the Minnesota Veterans Home-Minneapolis.
