Ronald C. Rhyan passed away on December 4, 2014 at Unity Hospital in Fridley, MN. He was 85 years old. Ronnie served in the U>S> Army for 5 years. He was a medic during the Korean War, honorably discharged on July 2, 1952.
He married Georgia Erickson and they lived in Ft. Dodge, Iowa for many years. After the death of his wife in 1995, he moved to Spring Lake Park where he lived until his death.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Georgia, his parents, Francis and Julia, and a step son James Erickson. He is survived by two brothers, Eugene & Dennis of Arizona; a sister, Gloria of Illinois, two step daughters, Carol Chandler of Arkansas & Phyllis Hakala of MN; two granddaughters, Vicki Olson of St. Louis Park, Theresa Olson-Hoffman & a great grandson, Allen Hoffman of Lake George, NY.
