Ronald Allen Reggin

Ronald Reggin of Columbia Heights, MN peacefully passed away on January 8, 2025 after a long struggle with COPD. During his final days and moments, Ron was surrounded by family. Ron worked for DuAll Service Contractors for many years. Ron enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, completing woodworking projects, watching and following a variety of sports on television, and watching Westerns. Ron enjoyed watching the eagle cams and playing poker on his computer. In his younger years, Ron excelled in softball and was a great dancer, enjoying dancing with his sisters! He loved trips to the casino with his family and when homebound, Ron loved following all his loved one’s locations on Life360. Most of all, it’s evident that Ron loved spending time with his grandchildren and they were central to his life, their special bond stands out as his greatest joy.

Ron is survived by his loving wife Janell of 47 years; daughter Angela (Peter) Norvold; sons, Joseph (Renae) Reggin, and Chris Reggin; Grandchildren, Lily (Ally), Lucy, Simon, and Rowdy; Brother, Rick (Barb) Reggin; Sisters, Sharon (Jack) Ryan, Patty Hansen, Gigi (Clif) Perkins, Diane (Scott) Krogseng, and Debbie (John) Stowe; sister-in laws, Elaine Wolf, Linda Simon, Debbie (Rod) Engel. 

Ron was preceded in death by his parents; Brother, Tom (Diana); Sister, Marilyn (Chuck); Sister-in-Law, Mary (Butch); and Brothers-in-Law, Don and Gary.

Ron will be remembered for his warm heart, his sense of humor, and his deep love for his family. He leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Mass will be held at 11am on January 16, 2025 at Immaculate Conception Church 4030 Jackson St NE Columbia Heights. Visitation will begin at 10am. Luncheon and memories to follow after mass.
