Roger Swanson

Swanson, Roger W. age 84 of Fridley. Went to be with the Lord May 16, 2015. Survived by loving wife of 58 years, Evelyn; daughters, June (David), Brenda (David) Carlstrom & Marlene (Alan) Touchberry; grandchildren, Amanda (Mikheal), Anna, Adam & Samuel (Libby); great granddaughter, Brenna; also other family & friends. Roger was a longtime resident of Fridley and a Charter Member of the Church of St. William. He enjoyed camping, airplanes, family reunions and especially making wood palm crosses which were freely given to those in need. He was a gracious, compassionate person who was always interested in other people. Mass of Christian Burial Sat. May 23, 11 AM at the Church of St. William, 6120 5th St. NE, Fridley. Visitation at the Miller Funeral Home, 6210 Hwy. 65 NE, Fridley Fri. 5-9 PM and one hour prior to mass at the church. Interment Gethsemane Cemetery.
