Roger Logan

Roger Logan, 77, of Anoka passed away at home on Friday, June 19. A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Miller Funeral Home, 6210 Highway 65 N.E., Fridley. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be held 4 p.m. June 23 in the Benson City Cemetery in Benson, MN.

Roger Leroy Logan was born October 25, 1937 in Benson, Minnesota, the son of Edward and Mathilda (Christenson) Logan. He was baptized and confirmed at the Congregational Church in Benson. Roger grew up in Benson and graduated from Benson High School with the Class of 1955. He was involved in football, bird club, wrestling, and basketball. Roger served in the U.S. Army from 1957-1959. Roger Retired from Onan-Cummins after 35 years.

He enjoyed golfing, participating in his granddaughter's sporting events, and loved to spend time with his family.

Survived by children, Mark (Laurie), Sheryl; granddaughter, Tayler Varcoe; siblings, Rosabelle (Kenneth) Hensch, Rosemary Erickson; sister-in-law, Sandra Logan; and many other loving relatives. Preceded in death by his parents and many siblings.

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
