Robert (Bob) Allen Kantor, 55, was born in Minneapolis, MN, raised and resided in Columbia Heights, MN. Bob passed away unexpectedly October 18, 2020 in Mazeppa, MN while camping with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary Kantor and father, Gary Kantor. Bob is survived by his mother Beverly, sister Brenda (Jason), two sons Christopher and Michael, along with partner Lynda McCauley.
In his spare time, he loved camping, working on projects around the house, and spending time with his cats, Coco and Shadow (step-cat). His most recent trip to Sturgis, SD this last summer brought him immeasurable joy. Upon returning from Sturgis, Bob purchased a CanAm Spyder, which sparked a new sense of adventure seen by friends and family by the size of his smile.
Bob worked for Hard Chrome Inc. 30+ years, creating many lifelong friendships. He is remembered at work as the person who wore many hats, and was able to solve any problem that arose while working. Not only did Bob tackle any challenge at work with confidence, he enjoyed helping others with problems that he could fix with his hands and mind. Bob, was someone you could look to for guidance, talk with, or share a drink with anytime throughout his life.
