Robert "Bob" Eidem

Eidem, Robert “Bob”, age 88 of Fridley, passed away on Nov 28, 2020 after a sudden stroke. Survived by wife of 68 years, Marlene (Gilsrud) Eidem; children, Debra (Mark) Johnson, Raleigh (Lynette), Randy, Richard, Darcy and Robert; 10 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, Dr. Carl and Elsie Eidem; and sister, Karen. Bob graduated from Montevideo High School where he was class president. He served in Korea in the Air Force and went on to graduate from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Geography. He was a city planner for Minneapolis. Bob enjoyed visiting the lake with family, tennis, golf, reading, travel and socializing. A funeral will be held at a later date.
