Robert Younggren

Robert Jo Younggren, age 52, of Ham Lake, Minnesota passed away September 27, 2018 at his home in Ham Lake, Minnesota.  An Open House Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Saturday, October 6 at American Legion Circle Pines, Minnesota. Food and refreshments will be served.  Prayers and eulogies will be held throughout the day.  Interment will be at his favorite place; his hunting/fishing shack in Orr, Minnesota, at a later date.

Robert was born October 9, 1965 in St. Louis Park, Minnesota to Wayne and Violet Younggren.  The family moved to Ham Lake, Minnesota in 1967, where Rob has lived since.  Rob graduated from Blaine Senior High School in 1983.  He became a tile setter and has worked the trade for many years.  Rob especially enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, spending time with his family and had a great love for music.

Robert was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Younggren; mother, Violet Younggren/Ableman; and his brother Gail Younggren.  He is survived by wife, LeAnn Alfson, sons Derek and Kyle Younggren; grandchildren:  Dylan and Stevie Younggren. Sisters:  Linda (Abram) Smith,  Lori (John) Zins, Lisa (Duane) Hanson.  Nieces and Nephews:  Erin Westerhold (Scott), Zack Smith, Jamie Younggren, Dylan Lueck and Joshua and Lukas Younggren.  Great Niece:  Violet Younggren.

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
