Robert "Bob" Victor Johnson was born in Minneapolis on November 6th, 1928. He spent his early years in Minneapolis, the Braham area and Mora, Minnesota. He graduated from Mora High School in 1947. Bob served in the U. S. Army from 1950 to 1952. He and his wife of 56 years, Cleo, were married in 1954. Robert earned his Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Minnesota in 1958 and his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Indiana School of Law in 1962. He returned to Minneapolis and worked for the National Labor Relations Board for 32 years. Bob had a passion for the law and helping people which led him to retain a private practice following his retirement from the N.L.R.B. He enjoyed retreating to his land "up north", dancing, Polka music and especially conversation. Bob was preceded in death by his parents Survived by wife of 56 years Cleo; daughter Linda; 3 grandchildren Rachael, Matthew & Elizabeth all of CA. Mass of Christian Burial 11 am Friday, Dec. 17 at Church of St. William, 6120 5th St. NE, Fridley. Visitation from 5-8 pm Thursday in the Miller Funeral Home with a 6 pm prayer service and continuing 1 hour prior to Mass at church. Interment Royalton Cemetery.
