Richard Shackle

Shackle, Richard Lyle, age 82 of Blaine. Born on Sept 30, 1931, passed away on Sept 20, 2014 peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Dick served in the Marine Corps and did one tour in Korea. After his tour, he came home where he met and married his beautiful wife, Patricia. They had 6 children and upon retirement were able to realize a dream of travel together. Preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Patricia; son, Robert; parents, Kenneth and Clara; grandchildren, Joey and Sarah. Survived by children, Steve (Sue), Lynn , Rick (Lori), Lori (Dale) and Lisa; 16 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; brother, Bert; and sister, Joyce. Memorial service 11 AM Saturday, September 27 at Miller Funeral Home, 6210 Hwy 65 NE, Fridley, with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will be held on Tuesday, Sept 30 at 11:30AM Lane 2.
