Reuel Summers

Reuel "Bud" Summers, age 91, of Columbia Heights passed away peacefully on Friday, July 20, 2018. Bud leaves behind his loving wife, Evelyn Jean; children, Nancy (Ken) Houser and Steve (Sharon) Summers; four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Bud was born to Reuel and Edna in rural Nebraska on August 27, 1926; and was the oldest of ten children. He was a diehard Nebraska Cornhusker football fan, and an avid golfer.

He was dedicated to his duties at the Shrine and proudly marched in the Drum and Bugle Corp.

Memorial Service Monday August 27, 2018 at 10 AM Miller Funeral Home, 6210 Hwy 65 NE, Fridley.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Shriners Hospital for Children or Homeward Bound Pet Shelter.
