Ralph Ott, Jr

Ralph Daniel Ott Jr. 83, of Excelsior, MN formerly of Clear Lake, Iowa followed his son Daniel on August 2, 2014. Preceded in death by his parents, Ethyl Howard Ott, Ralph Ott Sr. and Nettie Howard Ott; brothers, John (Jack) Ott, Don Ott; daughter, Susan Wisner and granddaughter Erica Wisner. He is survived by his wife Jacqueline Ott; his sisters Dorothy Short (Bill), Margaret Thompson (Earl); sister-in-law, Eunice Ott (Jack); daughters, Kathy Saum (Bob), Karen (Randy) Wisner, Laura Reynolds (Jackie Hoff); and much loved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Ralph, a US Army veteran was a kind and loving husband, father, and friend. He passionately followed local sports teams both amateur and professional. He loved golf and playing cards with this lifelong friend Wayne Hill and Wayne's wife Sally. He will be fondly remembered for his devotion to his wife and family and for his small acts of kindness.

Memorial services to be held on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 2 PM at Excelsior Covenant Church, 19955 Excelsior Blvd, Excelsior, MN. Burial to be in Clear Lake, Iowa at a date yet to be determined.
