Paul Saumer

Paul William Saumer, age 24, of Shoreview, passed away unexpectedly on August 18, 2013. He was born April 17, 1989 to Wayne and Connie (Nelson) Saumer in Fridley. Paul was a loving and devoted son, brother, grandson, father and fiancé. He was an avid outdoorsman, with a love for camping, shooting and his cars. Paul was a graduate of Centennial High School and was employed by L & S Electric. He was preceded in death by his step-grandfather, Whitey Wolden; and grandfather, Gene Saumer, who departed on August 16 and was there to greet Paul with a fishing rod. He will forever be missed by his parents, Wayne and Connie; sister, Sarah; fiancée, Alissa Gentz; daughter, Patricia; son, Troy; grandparents, Harland and Vicky Nelson, Anita Wolden; aunts; uncles; cousins; friends; and co-workers.
Paul's life will be celebrated from 1:00-5:00 p.m., Sunday, August 25, 2013, at Miller Funeral Home, 6210 HWY 65 NE, Fridley.
