Born June 15th, 1941, Pat recently celebrated her 78th birthday with family. On June 30, 2019 she peacefully passed away at North Memorial Hospital. A graduate of Richfield High School in 1959, she went on to attend the University of Minnesota and received her teaching degree. She was an elementary level educator in both Minneapolis and Fridley. Family was a top priority for Pat and being supportive and nonjudgmental to all were just a few of her many positive attributes.
Preceded in death by her parents William and Florence Hengen, sisters Mary McCLeary and Catherine Koyonen. Survived by her loving husband Larry of 52 years; sons Michael (Sue), Robb and grandson Henry; brothers Stephen (Laura) Hengen, Bill (Linda) Hengen; sister BethAnn Neynaber; sisters-in-law Judy Heimkes, Karen Rudie; mother-in-law Esther Whittlef. Pat is also survived ny her many nieces and nephews and their children that she loved so dearly.
A celebration of life will be held on July 14th from 1-4 PM at St. Williams Catholic Church in Fridley, MN (6120 5th Street NE).
