Patricia (Trish) Patten, 68, passed peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on June 11, 2023.

Family was everything to Trish. She loved deeply and with her whole heart. This is because growing up as the youngest child of Frank and Emma Stanlake, baby sister to Gary (Mary) Stanlake and David (Pat) Stanlake, and aunt to many nieces, nephews, and their children, she was surrounded by love, laughter, and music. Through the immeasurable loss of their parents and oldest brother Gary and his wife Mary, David and Trish did everything they could to keep the family bond strong and together they did.

Trish met the love of her life Jim in high school and for over 40 years, their companionship and deep affection was an epic tale that will continue to live on in our hearts. True best friends, they built a life that was a joy to be a part of and to watch unfold. Their love is so strong that it will continue to wrap their family with memories and comfort.

No words can express the amount of devotion that Trish emulated to all those around her throughout her life. She was the most caring and understanding Mother to Joe (Tayler) Patten and Angie (Tyler) Miller and provided constant support, friendship, and guidance that came from the full depth of her heart. She made sure her home was also filled with laughter and music and took her role as a Mom to unreachable heights.

The day Trish became a Grandma was the day her heart was full. Her Grandchildren, Emma, Maizy, and Maxwell were everything to her and they will always carry her with them knowing her love was fierce and unconditional. She lived for them and will continue to watch over and guide them with her everlasting love.

Trish had a welcoming way about her and never missed a chance to share her smile. She made friends wherever she went and held her closest in a very special part of her heart. Please join us in celebrating this beautiful soul on Wednesday, June 21st at Messiah Lutheran Church - 2848 County Road H2, Mounds View, MN 55112. A Visitation will be held at 10 am with a Memorial Service to follow at 11 am Your presence is a gift to us but if you wish to honor our loved one you may do so.
