Patricia Theresa Elizabeth Langevin Housewright, 85, also known as the “Queen of Christmas,” passed away peacefully in her sleep on the eve of her favorite day; the day when she would shower her generosity and warmth and delicious food on her family and anyone else who came through the door. We believe that this is what she preferred – to celebrate Christmas in heaven with Gene, her husband of 50 years who has been waiting for her since 2004 – for we simply have no memory of her ever doing anything that she didn’t want to do. She was fiercely independent to the end and so hilariously blunt, brave and loving. She will be greatly missed by her three sons Eugene Jr. (Deb), David (Renee) and Allen (Pam); as well as her grandchildren Christina, Lisa, Janet (Chad), Angela (Jeremy), Andrea (Noah), Nicholas and Victoria (Dan) and seven great-grandchildren. She is survived by sisters Monica Meyer and Florence Olson. A memorial will be conducted in the spring.
