Patricia Ann Blake,
age 70, of New Brighton passed away peacefully at United Hospital in St. Paul on November 24th, 2010 following a courageous six month battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Esther and Harry Horan, and her infant brother Clarence. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Charles M. Blake; sister, Lorraine Wickman; brother Michael (Karen) Horan; sons: Steven (Julie) Blake; Scott Blake (Amy Krause); Thomas (Shelly) Blake, Michael (Dawn) Blake; ten grandchildren; and many other loving family members and friends. Pat lived a life of service to others. She taught public school in the Anoka-Hennepin and Moundsview School Districts for many years. She was also very active at Christ the King Lutheran and with the New Birghton-Moundsview Rotary Club. She exhibited endless energy in her devotion to her family. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December1st at 11:00am, at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 1900 7th Street NW, New Brighton, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
