Pamela Capouch

September 27, 1949 — August 10, 2016

Capouch, Pamela Joyce (nee Shepherd), age 66 of Blaine, passed away peacefully on August 10. Preceded in death by mother, Beverly (Farmer) Shepherd; survived by husband of 37 years, Patrick; daughter, Elizabeth; father, Vernon Shepherd of Hastings, NE; brother, Kevin (Stephanie) Shepherd of Boulder, CO; also many nieces and nephews. Pam was raised in Grand Island, NE, where she also graduated high school. After business school, she became an administrative assistant and especially enjoyed her work at the Nebraska Medical Association. She married Pat in 1978, and the pair resided in Lincoln, NE; Taylors, SC; and Fort Smith, AR; before relocating to Blaine, MN. She was a devoted mother to their daughter Elizabeth. Pam volunteered in many capacities in the Centennial School District, Camp Fire USA, and St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, touching many lives. She had a deep faith, and enjoyed Bible studies, prayer groups, and teaching first grade religious education for many years. Pam loved the simple joys of life - working in the garden, being outdoors, birdwatching, reading, and meaningful conversations with friends and family. She will be remembered for her compassion to others and gentle humor. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, August 19, 11 AM with a visitation one hour prior at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 835 2nd Ave. NW, New Brighton, MN. Inurnment at Westerville Cemetery, NE at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance (MOCA). Condolences; www.millerfuneralfridley.com
