Michael Damien Mondeng, of Fridley, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on March 16, 2010 at the age of 23.
Mike was born on March 25, 1986. Michael was raised by his mother Jeanette and her partner David. Michael worked as a warehouse supervisor at Alltemp Distribution.
When not working, Mike loved hockey, drawing/writing, and spending time with his friends. His favorite team was the Minnesota Wild. He was also a talented artist who could draw and paint. He also enjoyed spending time in the summer boating on the river with his grandparents, aunts and uncles, and cousins.
Mike was a gentle spirit and had a very kind heart. He gave all of himself to those he cared about. And gave love and support to people without reservation, judgment, or the expectation of anything in return.
Mike had a large family that loved and cared for him. Because of the size of the family, and the fact that the family is so extended, there are too many people to list them all, but everyone loved him and will miss him.
Rest in Peace, Michael. You've come home.
Michael was preceded in death by father, Richard Sanchez. Survived by mother, Jeanette Mondeng; stepfather, David Tucker; grandmothers, Barb Mercil, Isabelle Sanchez and Betty Mondeng; grandfathers, John Mondeng and Ken Mercil; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
