Survived by Sharleen Schubarth, Harry (Judy) Benesch, Barb Pierce, Norma Benesch, MaryKay (Frank) Smith, Peggy (Chris) Fritch, Scott (Chris) Benesch, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and lifelong friends. She was married to Norbert Benesch for 59 years. Maxine sewed many a wedding dress and danced many square dances and hop polka's. She resided in Mounds View where she lived until Norb brought her home. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 20th at Miller Funeral Home, 6210 Hwy 65 NE, Fridley, Minnesota (763-571-1300).  Visitation commences at 10am.  Service is at 11am.  Interment to follow at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, 7601 34th Avenue S., Minneapolis (612-726-1127).  Friends and family will gather at 12:15pm Thursday at the Cemetery in Assembly Area #4.  No procession to the cemetery.
