Mavis Adelle Nollet (Pedersen)

Nollet, Mavis Adelle (Pedersen) age 86 of Blaine, passed away peacefully on January 15th 2023. She is preceded in death by husband Robert, parents Norman and Marguerite, and brother Dennis. She is survived by sons Scott, Steven (Cara), grandchildren Grace, Jenna Rivera (Erick) and three great-grandchildren. Mavis was born May 17th 1936. Growing up on a farm in Luck WI., endowed her with a strong Lutheran-Scandinavian work ethic. She graduated from Luck High School, then Polk County Teacher’s College, then earned a degree from Superior State College, where she met her future husband. They moved to Minneapolis where she taught in the public school system. She married in 1961 (a marriage of 50+ years), and began raising her two boys. Mavis had a passion for life, and poured herself fully into every challenge and adventure. She participated in church and in politics. She gardened, and traveled. Later in life, she worked part-time, at the Anoka Co. Public Library. She loved caring for Grace after school and in the summer. She maintained many life-long friendships and a love of animals.

Memorial service will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023 at 11AM with visitation one hour prior at Miller Funeral Home.
