Fitzgerald (Smeltzer),  Marian Bernice age 99 of Columbia Heights was born September 12, 1921 in Nelson, Wisconsin.  Preceded in death by parents Bert and Ethel (Anderson) Smeltzer; husband Joseph Donald Fitzgerald; son-in-law Kenneth George Reinking; sister and brother-in-law Evelyn and Paul Brantner, Arville and Richard Kuhn, Marcella and Everett Marcou; brother and sister-in-law Willmer “Bill” and Arline Smeltzer; brothers-in-law James Emmett Fitzgerald, Edward Emmanuel and Margaret “Midge” Fitzgerald; sisters-in-law Anna E and Richard “Dick” Jungwirth,  Margaret “Peggy” and George Klinkhamer; nieces: Jo Ann Marcou,  Patricia Jungwirth, Christina Jungwirth, nephew: David Jungwirth; great nieces Tara Fitzgerald, Angel Melke; great nephews Bryce Smeltzer, Charlie Jungwirth, Alex Marcou and Andrew Marcou. Snelling National Cemetery.
