Marian Batcha

Batcha (nee Sobiech), Marian B. passed away on April 29, 2020 at the age of 92. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Leo; as well as all her siblings. She is survived by and will be deeply missed by her son, Jerry (Pauline); grandsons, Dan, Doug (Melissa); son, Jim (Sandy); grandson, Joe; great-granddaughter, Ruby; granddaughter, Kaylee (Andrew) Fraser; great-granddaughter, Finley; many nieces, nephews. Marian was born near Sobieski, MN in 1927 during a snowstorm, she attended teaching college in St. Cloud, MN and later taught in a one room country schoolhouse before teaching in Fridley, MN. She gave up teaching to stay at home and care for her sons. Marian always had a kind word and a smile for anyone she met. There will be a private family service and burial on Monday, May 4, 2020.  We will cherish her love and laughter in our hearts forever.
