Marcus Meuwissen, 80, of New Brighton passed away peacefully on September 30. A memorial serivce will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 6 with visitation one hour prior at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church 835 Second Avenue N.W., New Brighton.
Marcus is survived by his wife, Ruth; children, Paul (Kimberly) and their children, Matt, Mari; David (Janice) and their children, Lynn (Adam), Nikki (special friend, Kevin), Jenny; Mark (Karen) and their children, Beth, Jacob, & Ryan; Daniel (special friend, Sue Kelley) and his children, Alex, Amy; and one sister, Rosie (Bob) Geyen.
Preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Willis.
Marcus was a teacher and coach with the Fridley School District for 33 years.
