Lyle Nieken

Nieken, Lyle E. age 67, of Ham Lake, MN passed away August 5, 2013. Preceded in death by his brother Larry and mother Charlotte. He is survived by his father Lloyd, beloved wife of 45 years, Karen (Perron), daughter Stacy (Jeff) Saucier of Mankato, son, Tony of Elk River, six grandchildren, two brothers and many nieces and nephews. Lyle worked 33 years for Griggs Contracting as a General Superintendent, faithfully served his country in the US Army and was a Veteran of the Viet Nam War. Lyle was larger than life and had a special way that touched the life of everyone he met. He never refused a request for help and was the favorite "papa" of all his grandchildren. His blue eyes and wavy white hair will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
