Louise Janet Paron
July 17, 1918 ~ December 17, 2013

Louise was born to John and Louisa Lindig O'Connell in Mounds View, Minnesota in 1918. She was raised on a farm and lived on that land for 90+ years. She attended Irondale School and graduated from Columbia Heights High School.
Louise married James Paron on September 30, 1939. Jim passed away in August 2008 after 68 years and 11 months of marriage. To this marriage 4 children were born – Diane, Kathryn, Virginia, and James.
Louise became a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in the early 1940's. She spent her time as a homemaker, a kitchen helper at Edgewood Junior High, volunteered at Unity Hospital, active in the Ladies Guild and the Senior Citizens Group at Messiah Lutheran Church. Jim and Louise moved to Gracewood Assisted Living in North Branch in 2008.
Louise is preceded in death by her husband, Jim; parents; brother, Walter (Dorothy) O'Connell; sisters, Mildred (Fritz) Schroeder, Grace (Clarence) Zwieg; brother-in-law, Robert Kroonblawd.
She is survived by her children, Diane (Arnold) Althoff, Kathryn (David) Bartle, Virginia (Gene) Powell, and James (Donna) Paron; 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren – Amy (Kirk) Petersen, Connor, Zachary and Emma; Lisa Bartle and Jack; Laura (Mark) Gogiloski, Maya and Nathan; Bradley Althoff and Maddie (Greg Scanlan); Jonathan (Lisa) Althoff, Emily and Addison; James (Nicole) Paron and soon to be grandson; Robyn (Antoine) Pereira and William; sister, Marjorie Kroonblawd; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral Service 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 20, 2013 at Messiah Lutheran Church, 2848 County Road H2, Mounds View. Visitation one hour prior to service at the church. Interment at Sunset Cemetery, Minneapolis.
