Louise Molencamp

Molencamp, Louise E. age 89 of Fridley.  Born November 17, 1932 in Minneapolis along with her twin brother, Dick. She was a loving mother to children, Kris, Steve (Joanne), Scott (Kirsten), Kay (Sandy), and Jana; and grateful grandmother to Jessica, Rick, Samara, Jamus, Ty, Sarah, Stephanie, Suzi, Samantha; great-grandmother to Brianna, Kami, Jake, Lexi, Alisha, Payton, Kaleb, Ava, Lilyanna, Chloe and Mack; great-great-grandmother to Harmony, Paisley, Ryan, and Bjorn; also survived by sisters, Marion & Gail; best friend, Kaye..

She was preceded in death by husband, Russ; son-in law, Rick; great grandson, Colton; siblings, Bob, Joanne, Dick, Gary, and George.

Lou was a dedicated mother always supporting her children in all their activities. Partnering with her beloved husband Russ, Lou worked for many years as a baker for Bob’s Big Boy. She continued her passion for creating sweet treats through the years with neighborhood children, family and friends being the beneficiaries due to her generous and giving nature.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday July 11th, 10AM with a visitation one hour prior at the Lakewood Cemetery Chapel, 3600 Hennepin Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55408.  Interment Lakewood Cemetery.

Gathering of friends party to follow at Banquets of Minnesota, 6310 Highway 65 NE, Fridley MN, 12:30 to 4pm.
