Lois Ann Taylor

Lois Ann (Salthe) Taylor, of Ham Lake, MN, Passed away Nov. 30, 2023.

Lois was a loving, caring, and selfless individual. She enjoyed spending time baking endless amounts of cookies and treats for friends, family, and co-workers. Usually while enjoying a good cup of coffee. Lois was an avid bowler, participating on many teams during her life. She cherished that time bowling and hanging out with “the girls”. Her face would light up whenever she discussed them. The Love of her life was Dwight, and her passion in life was caring for the many cats that passed through her door. She never turned a cat away. At a young age Lois started working in catalog sales for Sears. Once Sears closed, she did book keeping for a few smaller businesses. At the age of 81 Lois was still working in the flower and tool departments for Menards.

Lois was born in Adrian, MN to Orval Salthe and Olive (Amoth) Salthe. Lois married Dwight Taylor of Mounds View, MN on Nov. 25, 1961 in Minneapolis, MN.

Lois was preceded in death by Dwight Taylor (Spouse), Orval Salthe (Father), Olive Salthe (Mother), Norman Salthe (Brother), Robert Salthe (Brother), Clarence Salthe (Brother).

Lois is survived by Olga Mavis (Sister), Keith Salthe (Brother), and many nieces and nephews.

Per Lois’ request, there will be no visitation or services. In honor of the way Lois lived her life, we the family asks you to consider making small gestures of kindness towards others in your life. Lois will be laid to rest alongside her husband Dwight in the Sunset Cemetery.
