Lloyd Olson

Age 87, born Nov. 5, 1927, went home to our Lord on July 5, 2015 after living with Alzheimer's.
Preceded in death by daughter, Lynn; siblings, Mavis Yerks, Dr. Vern E. (Shirley) Olson, Ardis (Howard) Prestidge; and brother-in-law, Marvin Ashwill.
Survived by his wife, Polly (Anderson) Olson of 63 years; children, Susan (Wayne) Wahlstrom, Byron (Dianne) Olson, Denise Olson, Kay (Duane) Kojetin, Jean (Brad) Norgren, Christopher (Stacy) Olson; 17 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; sisters, Doris Ashwill, Marlis (Arnie) Maurer; and brother-in-law, Don Yerks; many other relatives and friends.
Lloyd was born in South Haven to Frank and Elvera Olson. He spent his youth on their farm/resort swimming and boating with his siblings, attending Lake Union Covenant Church, graduating from Annandale High School, served in the US Navy. Lloyd had a long career at Northwestern Bell. Lloyd attended the U of M and several Trade schools. Memorials preferred to the Alzheimer's Association or Covenant Pines Bible Camp. Services on 7-8-15 visitation at 12:30, memorial service at 1:30 pm at Brookdale Covenant Church 5139 Brooklyn Blvd, Brooklyn Center, MN 55429
