Linda Evelyn Heid

Heid (Brever), Linda Evelyn, age 81, of Fridley, passed away on October 20th, 2023.  She is preceded by her husband Charles; daughter in-law, Jeni Heid; siblings, Phyllis, Jack, Betty, Marlene, Kathy, Jimmy.  She will be deeply missed by her children, Kevin Heid (Sue Oster), Dawn Heid (Tammy), Kelli Jones (Richard), Tara Gillund (Tom), Chad Heid (Kari); grandchildren, Alison Miller (Alex), Ryan Heid, Brandon Jones (Lexie Eckman), Emily Heid (Luke Palmer), Caitlyn Jones, Andrea Heid, Sydney Gillund, Charlie Heid, Hunter Heid, Kadin Heid; great grandchildren, Charlee, Madison; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Linda grew up on a farm in Long Prairie, MN where she graduated from high school and soon after married her husband, Chuck.  They began their family and moved to Minneapolis eventually building a home in Fridley where she was a busy wife and mother raising their 5 children.  Linda worked odd jobs until becoming an installation coordinator for American Greetings Corp. where she remained until the untimely death of her beloved husband in 2004 which turned her world upside down.  She will be remembered for her love of family gatherings and as someone who enjoyed cooking, baking, and decorating for the holidays. Most of all she lit up with love for her grandchildren.  Per her wishes, private family services will be held.  Interment at Hillside Cemetery, Minneapolis.
