Lillian Paul

Lillian “Toots” Marie (Seefeldt) Paul was born on January 5, 1932 in Glencoe, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Herman and Lottie (Packer) Seefeldt. Lillian was baptized and confirmed in her faith at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lester Prairie, Minnesota. She received her education in Lester Prairie. On December 12, 1953, Lillian was united in marriage to Harold Paul at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. The couple made their home in Fridley, Minnesota. They shared over 43 years of marriage. She worked at a bakery in St. Anthony, Minnesota and cleaned homes for a couple of families. She later worked at Life Uniform in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota. Lillian enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and the family dogs. Lillian and Harry enjoyed camping all over the United States and Canada. She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church and participated in the Befriender program and Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, reading mystery books, doing crossword puzzles and feeding and watching the birds. Lillian passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Unity Hospital in Fridley, Minnesota. Survived by nieces Diane (Ken) Kriesel, Cindi (Tom) Plocher, Sue Winter, nephews Jim Slomkoski, Rich (Joyce) Winter, Jon Winter, great-niece Julie (Darrell) Lund, great-nephews Travis Winter, Justin Winter and other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her husband Harold Paul, parents Herman and Lottie Seefeldt, sisters Myrt Slomkoski and Lila Winter. Memorial service 11:30 AM Friday, February 9, 2018, at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 4101 Washington St. NE, Columbia Heights, MN 55421. Visitation 1 hour prior at church. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
