Leon Baggenstoss passed away peacefully at his home with his wife of 47 years by his side.
The fourth of fourteen children, Lee was born on April 7, 1929, near Upsala, MN. He grew up on a farm with his large family. He graduated from Upsala high school in 1947 and worked as a delivery driver for Coca Cola for a short time and had a few other jobs before taking a job at Duragraph, where he worked for his entire career. After his retirement he worked part time for several years delivering cars for Friendly Chevrolet.
He married Renee in 1977, consequently becoming stepfather to her 5 children Joe, Julie, Sally, Nancy and John, and later a grandpa to 10 grandkids and 11 great grandkids. He and Renee kept a beautiful lawn and garden at their home in Fridley and everyone looked forward to his famous peanut brittle at Christmas time! He will be missed by his family, friends and church community.
