Pray, Lawrence R.
age 80 of New Brighton, MN, passed away due to complications of polio on October 16, 2014. He was born in Winnebago, MN on July 31, 1934. Upon graduation from high school, he enrolled at the U of MN and on the second day of his freshman year, he became ill with the polio virus. He received his Masters degree from the University of MN in education and taught psychology in the Roseville school district at Kellogg and Ramsey high schools. Larry's special interests included woodworking and photography. Preceded in death by parents. Survived by wife, Elizabeth; their two daughters Pamela Jacobson and Cheryl Pray; and grandchildren Juliana, Christina and David. Memorial service on Wednesday October 22 at 11 AM; visitation one hour prior to service at St. Philips Lutheran Church, 6180 Highway 65 NE, Fridley MN 55432. Memorials to donor's preferred charity.
