Larry Blilie

Blilie, Larry A. age 79 of Blaine, passed away unexpectedly on March 18, 2022. Preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Eleanor Blilie; brothers, Gary Blilie and Curtis Blilie. Survived by son, Jason Blilie;  brothers, Gerald Blilie and Everett Blilie; sisters, Shirley Wolf, Renae Godejohn, Janice Albers, Linda Albers; and many other relatives and friends. Larry grew up in Comstock, Minnesota and attended Barnesville High School, graduating in 1960. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the US Navy and was honorably discharged in 1966. He moved to Minneapolis where he worked for Western Electric until it closed. He then worked for the US Postal Service until his retirement at the age of 62. Larry was a loving father, brother, uncle, and friend. He loved spending time with Jason and at his lake home. He enjoyed lutefisk dinners and playing 31 with family and friends. Larry will be missed by many.

A graveside service will be held at 1PM on Friday, April 8th, 2022 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis. Assembly area #3. Friends and family are all welcome to attend.
